Our Robert Morse Room is named for the second family to own this historic home. This quiet, second-floor, airy and spacious room is quintessential Cape Cod. For your sleeping pleasure, it has a king bed that features luxurious hand-pressed linens to rival deluxe hotel honeymoon suites on Cape Cod. The en-suite bath is a bright and sunny, European-style water closet with beautiful bead board trim and a shower with an adjustable shower head. There is a vanity with a porcelain sink and a large window brings lots of light into the bath. The room is decorated in ocean blues with white accents. Original pumpkin pine floors, antiques, and wicker complete the seaside cottage feel of this wonderful room. There is an original, 260 year-old fireplace constructed of handmade bricks that demonstrates the antique significance of this historic home. On cool fall and winter evenings, you can enjoy a cozy fire. This lovely room opens onto a deck with bistro tables and chairs where you can enjoy your early morning coffee and tea or a quiet moment relaxing with a good book and a glass of wine. For a stay of three (3) nights or longer, this room can accommodate an additional twin bed for a third person for an additional charge of $50 per night.
