Lobster, shrimp, clam chowder, and an amazing variety of fresh fish are yours to enjoy.

The Village of Sandwich is located on Cape Cod Bay with its beautiful beaches and cooling breezes. It is convenient for day tripping to Boston, the other Cape Villages, the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and Newport, Rhode Island.

I know it is winter but it feel like spring here on Cape Cod. The Inn is open until after Valentine's Day and we have a great special that you may want to consider as a gift for that special person in your life. We wanted to offer something really diffenent this year; something other than the standard roses, Champagne, and dinner. Since Valentine's Day falls on a Tuesday this year, we will be celebrating with a special event here at the Inn on the President's Day holiday weekend just after Valentine's Day. All of the details are on our "Specials & Packages" page of this website.

The weather has been so mild here in Sandwich that we have been our walking around the village and down to the Sandwich boardwalk and along the beach as much as possible. We have even managed a little biking in the warmest part of the day. Many of our wonderful restaurants are open and offering great deals like the half-priced appitizers at the Aqua Grille on Sundays and Dinner and a Movie at Tomatoes Italian Grille & Bar on Tuesdays.

If you are not fond of the outdoors this time of the year, spend time antiquing. The Sandwich Antiques Center and the Antiques Center of Cape Cod in Dennis are open and you are sure to find some wonderful values on something great for your home.

Last weekend, we were fortunate to be invited to attend the opening of a new exhibit at the Cotuit Center for the Arts entitles Wild Things - A Safari of the Imagination. It is an exhibition of Cape Cod Artists and it is fabulous. We were so happy to see Sandwich's own Naomi Bradford exhibited in this show. Naomi and Gregg Harper own the River Street Studio and Gallery just around the corner from the Inn. This winter their gallery is open Thursday - Saturday, noon til 4:00 and by appointment.

If you just want to hunker down at the Inn with a good book, that's ok too. We will make you some cookies and hot chocolate or pour you a glass of good wine!
