Immerse yourself in history and culture at our Cape Cod bed and breakfast.

Cape Cod's oldest seaside village is home to the 1750 Inn at Sandwich Center. Within walking distance of this quaint and beautiful bed & breakfast inn, the Sandwich Boardwalk will take you to Cape Cod Bay and its beautiful beaches. So, come for a bit or stay for a while, and let us help you fall in love with old Cape Cod.

Located in the heart of Cape Cod's oldest and most quaint seaside village, our Sandwich bed and breakfast is the perfect place to spend your holiday. With five lovely guest rooms and numerous wonderful amenities for guests to enjoy, you will feel as though you are visiting friends or staying at your own seaside retreat.

Sandwich is the perfect place for those wishing to immerse themselves in history. Known as the museum town because of the number of museums in the Village, it is also home to wonderful restaurants where you can satisfy your desire for some world-famous New England cuisine. Lobster, shrimp, clam chowder, and an amazing variety of fresh fish are yours to enjoy.

The Village of Sandwich is located on Cape Cod Bay with its beautiful beaches and cooling breezes. It is convenient for day tripping to Boston, the other Cape Villages, the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and Newport, Rhode Island.

Memorial Day is nearly here and we are ready for the summer. You must be, too. We are pretty booked for the weekend, but we do have a room for Sunday night and Monday night if you are headed to Cape Cod for the holiday.

Our charming little village has a Memorial Day Parade that passes right in front of our bed and breakfast inn. Our guests love to sit on the stone wall in front of the inn to watch. It is quite moving, as tribute is paid to those who fought for the freedoms that we all enjoy. It is particularly emotional for me as my wonderful grandfather was the last surviving World War Veteran in the oh-so-small town that I grew up in, and he was always a part of the Memorial Day festivities. Watching the parade go by always brings tears of remembered warmth and love. We have been promissed a sunny and warm holiday by the weather forcasters, so lets keep a good thought.

All the clam shacks are open for the season serving fresh local seafood. The whales have returned and are plentiful for Whale Watch Cruises. You can drive down to P'town and go whale watching and then stop by the Lobster Pot for a great meal. The Norman Rockwell exhibit is in full swing up at Heritage Museums & Gardens. That charming, old-fashioned mimi golf course here in the village is open for the summer and great fun. And, of course, the ice cream shops are scooping.

It is a great time of the year to rent a kayak or paddleboard and go for a paddle. Justin at Ecotourz here in Sandwich Village will even take you on a guided "historic" tour of the waters around the village. Give him a call and ask him about it. He would love to talk to you. If you haven't tried paddleboarding, ask Justin for a lesson. If you are a golfer, the rain has been great for the golf courses, so bring your clubs and we will call for a tee time for you.

Whatever you desires, you are sure to find something fun and exciting to do here. We would love to have you stay with us......Jan & Charlie
